Statute of Limitations

I'm from PA

Can anyone tell me if there is a statute of limitations for brining about a medical malpractice suit?

i think...

I think I was told, that in March 2002, it was changed from 2 years to 7or8 years. I don't remember exactly. But even 7 yrs. is much better than only 2yrs.
