| Hello,
I have recently been dealing with mutiple sinus problems that have caused me to have sinus surgery. I live in PA so sinus problems are the norm. Anyway, I went to the doctors who then gave me a prescription to treat my symtoms. I took the prescription to my local pharmacy who in turn attempted to fill the perscription. They could only partically fill my meds, due to low stock, and requested I come back in a couple of days to pick up the remaining drugs. I returned in a few days and picked up my meds. Once I was at home I reviewed the medicine container to make sure that the pills were what I was supposed to be taking and at that time everything looked ok. I then opened the medicine container to take my prescription only to find that they had placed the wrong pills in the container. If I had not known what these other pills were I would have been taking the wrong meds without knowing, but since I have had multiple sinus problems I was aware of these other meds from having taken them in the past. Anyway, I'm not big on lawsuites, but could have really ended up with some major problems. If I was being treated for heart problems they could have killed me and no one would have ever known. Any way I don't know where to turn from here. I contacted the pharmacies headquarters and reported the incident, but they made me feel insignificant and left me wondering if this incident would just be kept internal and swept under the rug. If you have any advice for me at all I certainly would appreciate it.
Thank you |
