5yr-old debt collection

What is the name of your state?ALABAMA
I was contacted after 5 years about collection for a loan. Received no correspondence until 5 years had passed. Just had a Chapter 13 discharged. Can they sue me for collection ???

A. Not unusual. They have no obligation to contact you.

Q. Just had a Chapter 13 discharged. Can they sue me for collection ???

A. Hopefully, you listed the creditor in your schedules. If not, repost your question on the bankruptcy forum or call your bankruptcy attorney.
