7 year reporting time

What is the name of your state? pa

what is the 7 year time line can dola refer to when the ca updated the account i have an old credit card with providian and now its with sherman aquastion and i beleive they reaged my account and they are reporting it open and the account was closed and charged off some time ago so im not sure but it states in my cr that it wont come off till 2/2012 b/c sherman updated it on 3/2005 there has been no activity on account in some time so i dont understand what is going on or what i should do.
