Affirmative Defense on Statute of Limitations

What is the name of your state? MN,

My name is Shawn, and i need to know where I can go to get an example letter of a SOL affirmative defense. My wife was served with papers and I am the one doing the research and I want to answer the complaint to the plaintiffs attorney. can anyone direct me to where I can be sure that I am using the appropriate language for the answer on a SOL for affirmative defense. You help is greatly appreciated!!! Have a great day!

Shawn

Try creditboards.com.

When was the last activity date? What type of debt is it?

The last activity on the account was 8/2000. It was an MBNA credit card, so I believe under MN statute it is titled as an open ended account thus having a 6 yr statute of limitations.

Where exactly do I find an example letter for the affirmative defense on SOL on creditboard.com? I just want to be sure that my language is executed correctly so that I do not have an invalid "answer" to the summons that my wife was given. Your help is greatly appreciated!

Click on forums, then read the credit forum. I don't have a specific link, but all they talk about on that forum is stuff like this. Good luck.
