What is the name of your state? AL
For SOL purposes, are credit cards considered open or written contracts in AL?

You will get different answers from different folks. Ultimately, it will depend on the exact wording of your state statues and the judge's interpretation of those statues.

Judges in most states take the opinion that a bank credit card is a written agreement. Sometimes, a store credit card can be an open account.
