Arbitration Award

Just received a letter today from NAF giving award to CACV of Colorado.
$4,468.00. This was for a apple loan from MBNA back in 2000.

I refused arbitration and they just ignored everything.

What do I do now?

Help

My response:

Now, you get to stick your head between your legs and kiss your ass good-bye.

your contract when your borrowed the money contains an agreement by which you agreed to arbitrate any disputes....They notified you of the arbitration and you ignored it...So the creditor took a "default judgment" through arbitration. You now have a judgment on your record. They will garnish your wages, your bank account, put a lien on your house... Had you shown up for the arbitration you have been able to dispute the amount or settlement..but oh well.

. . . the basic "kiss your ass good-bye" routine.

Oh, boy. We got a live one!!

No, turd. The issue was already "ruled" on by the arbitrator. Now, it's just a matter of having the order signed, confirming the award into a judgment.

Are you a space cadet?

In Nov., you posted that you knew it all and were refusing arbitration. At that time you were advised by people on this board, myself included, that that course of action was incredibly stupid.

If you have participated in the arbitration, if only to raise an objection, you would have grounds to dispute it when it gets confirmed as a judgment. You didn't and you made your silly argument in writing.

So, you get to pay. For the judgment, the arbitration, the judgment confirmation and interest until you pay it off.

But hey you know it all so what the hell. It's your bed, you lie in it.
