Army PCS Debt

What is the name of your state? TX

I just got out of the army in July after 10 years of service due to a medical discharge. the other day I get the letter in the mail stating: "As a result of a DODIG audit, we are reviewing the prior year advances back to 2004. as a result, we found you have an unsettled advance of $1,126.59."

I replied to the email that was on the letter, and stated that there must be a mistake because the dates are not correct, and I had just gotten out so they should have caught that on my way out. The guy replied with that I had traveled on such date (that was different than what the letter said), and that my suspense date would be the 14th of this month.

so I replied once again stating that because things didnt match and because I couldn't get ahold of anyone on the phone number that was on the letter, that I am treating it as a scam.

Sorry for the long post, but can the army collect a debt based on an audit after a person already gets out????

Thanks

Nick

If their audit is correct, yes.

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!

You might want to contact the VA or a veteran's service organization for help in this matter.

Ignoring this is the worst possible thing you can do.
