Article about asset Acceptance

What is the name of your state?
Far to long for a copy and paste. Show in court and defend.

I didn't know whether to laugh or choke or barf....

"we spread a lot of honey"...

Too bad more people don't know about how to validate and fight these kind of "people" (said with sarcasm of course)

Thanks for posting.

Unfortunately, I was drinking a cup of coffee when I read the article and spewed it all over the keyboard!
Seriously, did you catch that part about women were more likely to pay than men?

Many veterans in the debt-buying industry say that other things being equal, women are more likely to repay than men. A former manager of one of Asset's regional branches says Asset's computer system flags accounts on which women are the primary debtors. Another category that gets highlighted is debtors who have previously promised to pay.

Yeah.. I caught it.. and I put my iced tea down after I read the first paragraph so I wouldn't spew...

The fact that they think women are easy to push around doesn't surprise me in the least -- but then, they've never bothered ME Its easy for a scumbag to bully women from the protection of a telephone line - makes 'em feel like real big men I'm sure. Unfortunately, its the women who are more likely to be at home during the day, its the women who answer the phone most of the time even when the men ARE home. Its also just indicative of the overall ignorance of consumer rights and laws by the public in general. Education and public awareness is the only way to shine the light of day on these lying scumbags.
