If you owe the money, they will most likely get a judgment against you whether you go to court or not. BUT the interest rate will be 10% (in most states) instead of the 20 or 30% you are probably being charged. If they can find the money to collect, they probably will and it will be over. If you get out of school and go to work, you can pay it off. Don't worry so much. No debtors' prisons in this country.
