auto deficiency

What is the name of your state? Mississippi

Could you please tell me if you can be sued in the state of Mississippi for the deficiency after an automobile has been reposessed and sold.

Did you have advance notice of the sale?

Where/how was the car sold?

It was a voluntary reposession. I just didn't know the law in Mississippi. Can they garnish my wages to get the $5000 we owe them?
