Auto Loan

What is the name of your state? Oregon

I have an intrest free loan with Chrysler. I have been behind a payment for a few months and just a day or two before the due date I make a payment so it never falls after 30 days. They call and bug me for the payment tell me they know I'm engaged and should get the money from someone. That if I dont do something soon they will review my account. Can they take my truck after several years of pament I bought it new 2002 because of only one payment never more than 30 days behind? Also I asked to talk to the supervisor of the collections department and the women that always calls me on this account told me she refused to give me his name or extension. Is that right?

It is a huge pain for banks to have to repo a car. It's time consuming, expensive, and they never get the loan paid off by auctioning the car off to the highest bidder. Because of this it is the very last resort that banks will use. I'm not saying that they won't do it, because they do have that option. If you remain a month behind in your payments they may decide to do just that.

I recommend you get caught up on your payments as soon as possible. If you don't your final payment is going to be a killer because you are way behind your amortization schedule. You are killing yourself on interest.
