auto loan default in Texas 5 years ago

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas
I developed a heart problem 5 years ago and defaulted on a vehicle loan. The credit union never picked up the vehicle nor have they sued for collection. I don't have the title how can I get rid of the vehicle (it has been sitting for 5 years)?

Call the credit union and ask for the title.
