Bad debt that isn't mineMississippi. I live in Mississippi.. M y wife put me on a credit card she got. I didn't sign the form she just added my name to the account and then we got divorced. The divorce specifically states that all debt was the responsibility of the initiating party and then she filed bankruptcy on the debt. Then a couple of years later I find out there is a judgement against me on the amount. I was never subpeonied to court and was not aware of the judgement. I found out about 1 year before the judgement would expire so I thought I would wait it out. Now they are requesting renewed judgement is there anyway to stop this? |

So, when you say your ex added you to the account, did she add you as a JOINT account holder, or as an authorized user ??
