Bank Account in Neighboring StateWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NC WE live very close to another State line. I am presently trying to settle on 6 past due credit caard accounts. Totaling about $26,000. If I can not settle with one or more of them and they go to court for a judgement will they look for an account in another state to freeze? Or do they just look in the state where you live. WE (husband and I) live on Social Security only at this time. Lost my part time job back in Dec. Husband is disabilied. Our SS is direct deposited in to an account in the state we live. Thank you so much for your help. |

| They will look for ALL your assets, wherever they happen to be.
