What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New Jersey
I recently found out the hard way that I had placed upon my checking account a lien. I get paid bi weekly and had just deposited my pay check of 1730.00 , A), can they monitor my account to see when I deposit, B), This action caused me to bounce several checks, am I responsible for this, C), is there any recourse regarding this matter towards hardship, I have 5 children, limited food and now cannot pay my mortgage or other bills and D), are not the bank or the creditor required to send me notification that they are placing a lien upon my account?
