being sued for some items already paid

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas
I fell behind on an installment contract with a furniture company just turned 4 months on the first of the month. They sent me the paperwork for a suit against me. The problem is that the company listed on the suit items that i already paid off. (They used the same account number for the current item) I contacted the company and they said "don't worry about that, worry about the suit and the money you owe!" we are stressed and worried that the company is going to try and pick up the items already paid in addition to the item i am behind on. ANY advice is greatly appreciated. Oh and they are stating on the suit that if there is a judgment against me the apr will be 21%
