Billed for a repair 13 months late

I received a bill for what I thought was warrenty work on a hot tub 13 months after the work was done.
At the time I knew the tub was approximatly 1 month out of warrenty but questioned it because the repairs were the same that I had done during the warrenty period. I was told they would see what they could do. Did not hear any more until yesterday when I received a bill for $1,200.
Am I oblidged to pay this bill in full?

Yes, their inept billing practices doesn't relieve you of the obligation to pay for work that was done.
