Calvary Portfolio Services

What is the name of your state?Florida: Need some advice and just found this site. I have been fighting with Calvary Portfolio Services for a few years now over a debt they claim I owe for 5,000.00. I have no record of this debt, my lawyer has asked for validation of debt with no success and I have tried to have a conversation with them personally.

Now I am trying to get buy a home and this is a big black mark on my credit report. I would have paid the debt if they could produce some legal documentation showing me it is my debt but they can't. It does match a bank (Bank of America) I had a lease with years ago but they have no record of any debt, I did check directly with them. So maybe that is a coincidence?

I'm just running out of ideas and thought maybe someone out there nows something else I can try.

If you send a dispute letter to TransUnion, Experian, and Equifax, they will open an investigation for you.

I think they get 30 business days to examine and react (close)
