What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

Can my wages be garnished for student loans? I live in Texas.

You bet your sweet bippy they can and most likely will if you have defaulted. They can also take your tax refunds, just fyi.

Texas is an extremely debtor-friendly state, but Uncle Sam's long arm reaches Texas
