Can someone PLEASE help !??

What is the name of your state? MD

I am starting to try and repair my credit. I have been reading alot here and other sites and I see alot of info. but its so hard to soak it all in . I don't want to mess up the process so I need help getting started.

I have some paid collection accounts and Paid settlements that say legally paid for less than amount owed. They are from 2000/2001 . and none of the have reported since2001 .

My question is what is the first step in getting them removed from the CR ?

I have read about DV the OC and ask for cert. of dist. and I have read about disputes to CRA .

My problem is , being new to this I have NO IDEA what to do first. I dont want to mess up ...please help !!!

I really want to start the process but I dont want to mess it up.
