Can someone visit my job to collect a debt? TN (in-house collection)

Tennessee
Can a contractor come to my job to collect a debt?
Debt is less than 60 days past due.
Contactor incorrectly invoiced. Charged twice for a job and materials.
The contractor also threatened to be "waiting" for me when I got out of work to "settle" it. Made this threat and used profound language with other employees and customers present and within earshot.
