Car RepoWhat is the name of your state Georgia I have a friend that had her car repo'ed by Capital One. YES! She indeed was two months behind. It was taken on a Sunday and first thing Monday morning she made the two payments online. Then she called to find out what she had to do get her car. They tell her that although she is indeed current that she has to make the payment for October which is not due yet and November and pay the repo fees before they will release the car. She agrees with the repo fees of course but how can it be valid to make her pay two months in advance. Of course she does not have two months of payments. Is this legal. |

| If she reads her sales contract carefully, she'll probably find that not only can they make her pay October and November, but they can accellerate the contract and make her pay the entire balance of the contract in full before they release the car. So, if she wants the car back, pay the money.
