Here;s the run down. in 2005 or 2006 i got a 10,000 credit limit. spent most of it on a 4-wheeler that i sold later on. i had a 0% interest rate and i missed a payment or 2 and the jumped my rate to 21% then 30 something. I was making payments on it every month after that until July of 2007 when my husband got laid off and i got fired from work due to the fact that i went out of work for being bi-polar. the dr's didn't get the info. send in, in the time allowed so they fired me. We have 2 small kids. We don't own a house or pay rent. I am paying a lease on a jeep which will be up in about 3 years. With the econ. going to **** it's hard to get a job. i am trying to get on disability but having problems with that. so in the meantime we are struggling to get by with things. We had to choice which things to pay and which not to. i guess you get the whole total idea.
Here's the questions i have to give them a written apperance. which i am going to do. I really don't know where to start on that. so if anyone has any idea's on that.... that would be great. There is no way i am going to be able to pay this debt off unless the monthly amount is less then 50 a month which i doubt they will do. Most of the stuff i bought with the card i sold or destroyed. (broke) Neither of us are working. are they able to do anything to my jeep? that's my only really main concern, unless someone knows something about all this that i don't. I never really talked to the card company because of my bi-polar and other medical problems and not being on meds. i am very good at shutting things out. At this point i really don't care about my credit. it's already messed up. Please someone help me. i have no idea what i can do or waht the card company can do. there is no possible way that i can pay them at this point and probably not for a while. |
One the one hand you ask for help from us, but on the other hand you say you don't care. You really need to decide which way you are going to go. I can tell you with all honesty that $50 a month on a CC balance that you described is going to do nothing - absolutely nothing.
You need to find the strength somehow and get your act together. We can't help you unless you want to help youself, so when you are ready to go out there, pound the pavement like the rest of us and get a job come back and ask again. Until then there isn't really much anyone can do - it all has to start with you.
take care, ana
