Claiming bankruptcyWhat is the name of your state? Brooklyn, New York I have a problem with my tenant. I have a judgment against him, of a collection of past due rent amounting to $17, 500, and an eviction order. So the tenant has threatened to file a bankruptcy. The marshall said before I get the eviction warrant enforced, I need proof that the tenant did not file the bankruptcy. 1. On what website can I find this proof? 2. If he did file for bankruptcy, how can I evict him? Any help is deeply appreciated. Thank you. |

| If he files for bankruptcy and lists you as a creditor then you will receive notification of the filing. |
