Closed account date on CR

What is the name of your state? GA

Can anyone advise me please as to what correlation, if any, there might be to the date listed as "account closed by creditor 9/00" - and the dola/sol? I have no dola listed, only the closed date and am trying to figure out the sol. Thanks.

Did you get copies of your CR from all three CBs? Is this same information on all 3 of them?

Yes, Veronica, I did and it is the same on all; however, I did get them all on line and have since requested mailed copies as someone told me the online reports don't show everything a mailed one will. I will wait and see what they say when they arrive. Also forget to mention that this is a credit card with a 4 year sol. Thanks.

Veronica?????

Ok - have the mailed reports now. Need to know how can a credit card acct. show as closed by grantor 9/00 but the dola on equifax shows 2/02. That doesn't even make sense. I went without paying for about 6 months - and then paid them about 3 payments after that and none since that time. Did those 3 payments to the cc company reset the sol. What, from the above, is my sol??? Thanks for any help.

I'm not 100 percent sure, so you should wait for Vernonica's reply, but I believe that any payment you make will reset the date of last activity.

Marbol is correct that those 3 payments did restart the SOL clock. SOL starts on the date of LAST activity. If you made a payment today, it would reset the clock to today.
