I live in Colorado and I had a debt collector contact me today about an account that will reach it's statute of limitations next month. This is the first time I've been contacted about this account and I'm wondering if the account will be removed from my credit if I don't pay it or will it remain. Please help. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Nope - SOL doesn't have anything to do with how long it will remain on your credit report.
