Question

Collecting a Judgement...

State: Oregon
County: Deschutes

Last June (2008), I was involved in a collision with an intoxicated, uninsured motorist. In April of this year, I was awarded a judgement against the individual, but have yet been able to collect any of the monies. Today, I discovered where he works and intend to go through the garnishment process, but I've never done this before. Would anyone have any advice they'd care to share? Steps to take...forms needed...fees involved...etc. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Thanx.

See if this helps to start with - I'll see if I can find anything else.

ETA: Actually that pretty much seems to explain what you need in a nutshell!
