Collection Agency filed civil actionI have a collection agency that filed civil action after I got a letter from them stating they would delete the account, what happens now?

| You should show up in court and be able to prove that: a) its not your debt b) the debt was already paid OR c) the company has forgiven your debt, so you don't have to pay Feel free to bring the letter from them where it clearly states that you are no longer responsible for the debt to prove your case. |

| They said that although they removed it they can still file claim, I asked for the proof and they said they don't have to show me until court, I contacted an attorney
