| Tell them to pack sand. Send a cease and desist letter stating that the statute of limitations on the debt expired long ago. Many scum sucking collection agencies are scrounging up expired debt and are making attemps to collect. Some states have made feeble attempts to pass laws to ban the practice of collecting on debts that are beyond the SOL but the banking and collection agencies have been very persuasive is stopping such legislation.
