Colorado Cit Owes Me US$520 Im In Australia!!!


I made a payment of US$520 to someone in Colorado for some items i wanted, now they say they wont send the items or refund me.
after much hard work i know who they are the address and phone #.
I have all my receipts showing i have made payment and also have emails of them saying they owe me the money.
I dont know what to do!!!
any directions?

Looks like you will be comming back to the states to file a claim against the Jerk. If that is worth your time.

Was this done through E-Bay or Craigs List by any chance?

They owe me US$520
Econy Flights over US$2,000 each way from Brisbane to Denver CO.
wish i had the money to do it out of ethics.
but alas i havn't won the lottery and am still paying out my student loans
surely i can sell the debt or do something???
atleast they wouldn't benefit from ripping me off !!!

Yeah ebay.
They contacted me via ebay after not winning a bid.They offered a discount if i bought out of ebay, i even used paypal thinking i would be covered.
I got the "my mother died" and then "it came back in the post' by then the paypal cover was up (about 45 days from memorey). now neither of them(ebay or paypal) will help me. the whole mother one got me, how low is that. to think i was feeling bad for them and they were laughing at me. anyway what a valuble lesson.

I would bet the seller had a rating of less than 10 and his previous sales were small items worth only a few bucks each.

Actualy the seller had a feedback well over 200 for items like mobile phones and ipods etc.
but that dosnt help me much.

yeah well, got no where with this, funny i just stumbled upon it.
I found the persons pesonal details, anyone want to pay them a visit for me?
