Consumer CrimeCountry: Malaysia State: Wilayah Persekutuan Issue: Previously I took some products from my previous Client naively thinking it's fine. However when I resigned from my Agency to another, my ex-client raised the issue that I took the products without authorization and would make it a legal affair. Therefore my ex-employer suggested that the company would pay for the products and I would have to repay the money to my previous company by monthly instalments. Now that I'm paying my ex-employer monthly instalments as agreed but now they(my ex-employer) insist that I should pay them a minimum amount of RM1,572.00 for 14 months which I can only afford to pay RM1,000.00 monthly. Now they are forcing me to sign an agrement with the company for the repayment scheme with the said amount of RM1,572.00 x 14 months. Question is would I get into legal problems if I do not sign the agreement and not pay the prefered amount but continue to pay RM1,000.00 monthly instead? Please advise as soon as possible. Regards Clifford |
