credit card collections

What is the name of your state? Georgia

My daughter has credit card debt she is unable to pay. She is receiving Social Security disability and works only part time. Once a Cred.Card Co. sends her to collections what can they legally do?
1. She was threatened with a warrent to come to her work.
2. She has no assets or accumulated monies.
3. Her SSDI can't be garnished.
But What?
