What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Missouri

I am being sued by a credit card company. They have already been to court a few times. I was not ware of this. Can they honestly say they have not been able to get a hold of me when I am trying to make payment arrangements with them and have contacted the attorney representing the credit card company to set up the arrangements. I have also been paying on the card just not the amount they want. I have emailed them like I was told to do and they have not responded to my emails. Do I need to go to court or would it even matter? What can they do to me even though I am paying on it.
