TEXAS I am divorced. Ex said she would pay half of daughters college expenses. This was our oral contract. She never paid. I paid it all. Happened in 1984-89. A demand was never made for the dept because I knew she didn't have it. Now she does and I am demanding payment. I have been told that the statute of limitations does not start to run until demand is made. Is this correct? Amount involved is $12,000. James
