Question

Debt Collections

What is the name of your state?What is the name of your state? NC

I recently did a voluntary vehicle repossession and have been notified that the car was sold...now they want me to pay them a HUGE balance. (This was an unsecured loan). What are my rights since I cannot afford to pay this large balance?

I'm not sure how you did a voluntary repo on an unseured loan. If you could explain that, it would help. If it was a secured loan, then you are responsible for the difference. Many people don't realize, a repo actually leaves them in worse condition.
