Debt collections keep calling

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida
I have two debt collection agencies constantly calling me. One is for a credit card that I was responsible for in a divorce. I moved out of state and in the confusion of the divorce, the move and a job change, I forgot to give them a change of address. This has caused the card to go into non-payment status. I know I owe on the card, and so does the ex. She's threatening a lawsuit. I can't make the total payoff and they are only willing to break the payments up into very unmanageable chunks. As long as I'm paying SOMETHING, am I alright here?
Secondly, I gave a 30 day notice on a move out of an apatment I was renting. That wasn't good enough, and now six months after I've moved out, I'm finally hearing something about owing $7000 to this apartment. They want to get the money in huge payments as well. Can I simply make SOME sort of payment and be alright legally?

It may be time for you to talk to a bankruptcy lawyer.

If the credit card and the apartment doesn't have your credit messed up filing bankruptcy sure will. You're not bankrupt, you simply have to debts that need to be resolved.

No. Your making payments does NOT waive their right to pursue collection... or litigation.

Same as above.

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!
