Employeer in breach of contract

What is the name of your state? Ohio

I had an employeer come to my home for six months straight begging me to work for his personal company. I was already at a job in which I have been at for 10 years with senority and ect. After this employeer offered me 10000.00 more yearly of course I took the job. After i started working there I brought to the employeer's attention the fact that he had not provided me with none of the benefits as promised and put in writing. I also had to bring to his attention that I had got a bounced pay roll check and incured fees on my bank account and with some creditors. Two days after I was let go. Is this legal to put a life time possition in writing to then because of his breach to then fire me when its brought to his attention? Can I sue? I have lost my income and am now having to sell my 300000.00 dollar home in which I have worked 20 years to obtain and all within 9 months of this new contract for employment. This employeer is bouncing checks all over town to part stores and other employees please let me know if I have any recourse Im loosing all I worked for in my life because of a liar. Sincerely, Bill
