Family Dispute

What is the name of your state? Texas

Hello, perhaps this might be the appropriate section to ask my question if not please refer me to the correct section.
My father has loaned my sister a very LARGE sum of money about 2-3 months ago with a verbal agreement of her paying him monthy. Now she avoides his calls or even to see him in person. Is there anything he can do legaly to get her to pay him back?

He can sue her, for breach of an oral contract.
