What is the name of your state? California.

Please help. I am going to try to collect a sum of money awarded to me from a former employer. He hasnt reponded to the regular notices and so now I will try to file a lien on his home property.
I live in Orange County. Can anybody give me the details on the steps needed to be taken?

Thank you.

First you need to sue him and get a judgment against him.

After you get a judgment, you may need to file it in the land deed records of your county.

OR it may already be a lien by virtue of being a judgment.

Stand by to see if any CA lawyers answer you on how to perfect your lien after you get a judgment.
