Florida LawWhat is the name of your state? Fl I would like to know if a collection agency isn't licensed in your state can they still sue using a attorney in Florida? I know they don't have a license and that's required but not sure about being able to sue using a Florida attorney. I'd appreciate any help with this that is offered. |

| Uh, yeah. They'd pretty much have to, wouldn't they? If you're in Florida and they're not, it would be pretty stupid to use an attorney trained and practicing under the laws of another state, which wouldn't be relevant to suing you. That would more or less be sending someone blind in to represent their interests in Florida.
