What is the name of your state? Hawaii
Several years ago I was sued in California, I did not have to money to defend myself and got a default judgment. The judge signed the judgment which is huge and accrues interest at 12%
They got the judgment entered in Hawaii as a foreign judgment.
Eventually I would like to move on with my life and get out from this judgment. I know that in California the judgment can be renewed every 10 years forever, but do they only have 10 years to collect in Hawaii or does it go away after that?
Thanks for any advice

Since it has been filed as a judgment in Hawaii it is valid for 10 years and is renewable for 10 more. I found that information here: Law Dog - Hawaii

As a addition - here is the info on California judgments:
Law Dog - California

May not be the info you wanted to hear, but here it is.
