Fraudulent Charges

What is the name of your state? Wyoming
I have charges for about 3000.00 on Best Buy credit card that was not mine, it is listed not once but 3 times on my credit report. I have tried several times to get this removed to no avail. I have asked for proof that the debt is mine and got nothing.
Is there really a big difference between being an authorized user on an account and being a co-signer? Because I was an auth user, however I never received a card and never made any purchases on the account in question. Can I sue them to take it off my credit report? What can i do?

How EXACTLY have you tried... and to who??

Yes.

Okay, so clearly there is more to this than you are telling. Presumably, the card issuer has investigated and feels that you ARE liable. What was their reason??

You can sue almost anyone over almost anything.

Start by telling us EXACTLY what the credit card issuer said when you contacted them IN WRITING to dispute their claim.

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!

Ok I contacted them three times in writing and got no answer back, at all. The primary on the account signed me up to use his account but he passed away right afterward. I never received a card and never made any purchases. I am trying to get this sorted out.
