Is something wrong with your caps key? The answer to your question is yes.

OK but how can they file for collection when they are not even legal in the U.S?

Do you want to start from "legal where they are and the injury occurred" or from "illegal to write bad checks where you are".

Incidentally, once you explain what kind of gambling you were doing (sports wagers or cards), we could also begin with the Dept. of Justice's position that all internet gambling is illegal pursuant to the Wire Act.

Your choice - you pick.

And you're from CA. That offers a few more choices. Leaving aside the State lottery, Indian casinos and Gardena card clubs, what do you think is legal where you are (even if the checks don't bounce)? C'mon, the clock is ticking. Read your Penal Code lately? Where do you want to start?

Does your question imply that some creditor is finally suing because you hoped to get real dollars for Monopoly money? Good!
