Garnishment

My state is not a community property state. My husband has a struggling small business. My house is mine from a previous marriage, all household bills are in my name. My husand and I have never co-signed a bank loan or owned a joint bank account of any kind, nor is his name on any of my credit cards etc. He has a debt through his business that I did not co-sign nor was I aware of the debt. We received a letter from a lawyer demanding we both sign a repayment agreement. I refused to sign. My wages are now being garnished. I was not aware of this until I received my pay check. Is this legal in Wyoming?
