garnishment of wages of retired person on pension

What is the name of your state?What is the name of your state? Texas. My question is can a CA garnish
a retired person's pension. I have defaulted on several of my credit cards
and they will soon be written off. If they are sold to a CA and I cannot meet
there payment plan, if I get sued can they garnish my retirement pension?
