Garnishments I hope that I have chosen the correct place to post this... I was wondering about garnishments(debt collecting) and child support. I live in Alabama. The question is: If you have an income witholding order to have child support deducted from your wages and a debt collecting garnishment goes into effect as well, is it correct for the debt collecting one to take 25% BEFORE child support comes out? It just doesn't seem right to me. I hope I made that clear enough... Thanks in advance for any information, Apex |
