Getting out of a consent judgement?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? missouri
i was sued for a time-barred debt in sept. 07. foolishly signed a consent judgment not knowing that the statue of limitation has passed on my credit card debt. i didn't know anything about sol, fair debt collections act, nothing at all. my checking account was garnished but i filed an exemption and the collection agency (assest acceptance) didnt get any money out of my account. i filed complaints with the FTC, BBB, AG office. this judgment is now on all three of my credit reports. is there anyway i can get outta this?

A: When you pay it off in full, make sure you get a satisfaction of judgment from the creditor.

Send a message via AIM to creditorRights
there are better ways to get judgments off your credit reports then getting a sat. borrow, loan, do whatever you have to and come up with the current balance owed on the judgment, contact the attorney tell him you will pay it off in full and you would like a stipulation vacating the judgment, the original creditor gets paid what is justly owed to him and the record of a judgment is expunged, gone, finito!
