Harrassing Collection agency phone callsWhat is the name of your state? Georgia I keep getting phone calls from this collection agency "Nelson Watson & Associates" for a person that I do know or never heard of. I have continueously told them they have the wrong phone#, but they don't care. They continue to call about 7-10 times a day. I want to know what I can do about these harrassing phone calls. Can anyone share any insight? |

| Next time they call, get an address where you WRITE a Cease and Desist letter to them. Send it CRRR.

| I can only offer this. I hope it works. Sorry, I do not have legal advice. 1) See if you can get their address and send them a CMRRR c/d letter with the info that you are not the person they are looking for and you don't know the person they are looking for. 2) Take your phone off the hook during the day and check messages remotely. 3) Change your phone number. Somebody will come along and offer better advice. I've read there are no DC cops. However, there may be somebody you can report these DCs to. They sound like idiots. ![]() Good luck. I've finally got the DCs looking for the lady who had the phone number I have now to stop calling. It took over a year! We used more childish measures (ever heard of that TV show about prank callers calling somebody to annoy them? Well we decided to annoy the idiots who were told REPEATEDLY over a year that she did not have this number, no we did not know her or what number she has now.) Kathy
