Help with a judgement

What is the name of your state? Virginia
I am seeking any help with a satisfied judgement on my credit report(s). Last August I was to appear in court for a judgement in regard to a doctor bill. The morning of court I paid the bill in full ratehr than go to court. The person in charge of billing at the office, they handled the judgement themselves, advised me that the person that normally appears in court for the office is already gone to court but that she will contact her and that even if she can't be reached, they will make sure that the judgement is vacated. I failed to follow up on this and pulle dmy credit report last week and found that the judgment is indeed tehre as "satisfied." I contacted the doctors office and the billing manager is no longer in their employ. She did note in her her computer soem notes on our conversation though. I am awaiting a call back from teh new billing manager as she is not sure what if anything they can now do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
